Naansense Internship — 2015, Chicago

The summer of 2015 was my first in Chicago, and in addition to scooping ice cream at a Lakeview ice cream parlor, I had the pleasure of designing menus and marketing material for Indian fast food startup Naansense. I was immediately taken with their bright colors and addictive curry mayo sauce. It was incredibly valuable experience, more of a freelance job than an internship, that meant making my own hours and biking past Lake Michigan to meetings with the owner. I still have a copy of the samosa coupon on my wall, as my first real designed item.
